Remembrance Mass - November 20

7:00 p.m. at St. Casimir’s Church

There will be a Remembrance Mass on Thursday,

November 20th at 7:00 p.m. in St. Casimir’s Church.

This Mass is in remembrance of those who have died within the past year. We are sending a written invitation to families who have had funerals in our parish during the past year, and they in turn may invite other family and friends.

We also want to extend a special invitation to those parishioners who have departed loved ones from other parishes during the past year. Please call the Parish Office to have the name added to the list of names that will be read during the Remembrance Mass.

All who attend are encouraged to bring with them a picture or memento of their deceased loved one which will be returned after the Mass.

Everyone is welcome to share in this community prayer as we continue to renew our faith and hope in the God who offers everlasting life.

Sacramental Changes

The Diocese has a few new changes to our Sacramental programs. First of all, the sacrament of Penance will now precede the Sacrament of First Eucharist. So any child (usually in second grade) who is planning to receive First Eucharist in the spring of 2015 should plan to receive First Penance this fall.

The parents of children in second grade or higher who still need to receive First Penance are encouraged to attend this meeting also.

All notices of Sacramental Preparation meetings and classes will be primarily through the church bulletin. The Parent Meeting for First Penance will be Wednesday, September 24th at 7PM in the Faith Formation Center. This meeting is for parents only.

See you then,
